Jiang Lai Shang Fu | DC ALLIANCE | World Design Awards 2021

DC ALLIANCE: Runner-Up of World Design Awards 2021. The project is located at the junction of Yunfei Road and Hongtang Middle Road in the new area of Yaojiang New District, Jiangbei, Ningbo. It is close to Yuyao River with a superior geographical location. As the commanding height of the entire area, we plan to build a 120M new landmark in this district. Through the cutting and dislocation of the simple geometry, the modern and iconic style has been obtained.

Meanwhile, through the coordination and unity between the building form and volume, we created a multi-level setback terraces, multi-dimensional spatial relations and multiple flexible and free spaces with the adoption of geometric cutting of shapes. The tower, taking the tall and straight six-sided elements as its base, is built high via slicing the shape; on the other hand, the inward retreat of the roof tower, which forms a multi-level setback terraces, can enrich the facade with the sense of hierarchy, the relationship of shapes and straight feeling of the building. Through different angles and multi-dimensional cutting of the facade, the shape changes with different perspectives and the rich architectural expressions of more different angles are obtained.
