Kakowska 29 | AP Szczepaniak |International Architecture Awards 2019

Kakowska 29 it’s an office building with an “A” marking standard. The individual and striking design makes this building visible in the nearest surrounding. The proposed design is created with loft and post- industrial style, with use of high-quality materials, both construction and façade components. It’s also eco- friendly and energy efficient building.

Krakowska 29 – perfect place for any kind of office employees looking for inspiring interiors and flexibility.

This building in its shape was made with a symmetrical and angular conception, it’s almost a cubic box. The entrance to the foyer, facing the main street, was created by cutting off the geometrical block. The recess allows some shadow into the hallway dividing an inner space from the exterior.

The idea behind the design was to give an impression of industrial buildings to fit in with the surrounding. Interior finishes were chosen to comply with the overall design. Wall and floor finishes were made with architectural concrete with all installations visible on its surface. The materials used were very pure and simple as stainless steel, glass and concrete.

The roof top was planned as a green area with benches and multiple kinds of greenery to allow some quiet space for all building users.
