Purple’s Design: Winner of World Design Awards 2025. Guided by the concept of “HOMETIQUE”, this project blends the warmth of home with the refinement of a boutique, creating a living space imbued with art, culture, and human emotion. Here, artistry and locality converge with modern aesthetics, forming a poetic dialogue between tradition and modernity, East and West.

Following the theme of “Ceremonial Order and Brilliant Scenes”, the spatial narrative flows with grace and ritual. Every movement follows order, every carving carries the fragrance of time. Through the fusion of senses—light, texture, and art—the design transforms aesthetic experience into cultural immersion.

The entrance hall welcomes guests with the auspicious motif “Fortune enters with fragrance”, expressed through an art floral installation. Wall lamps reinterpret the “door nail” symbol using crystal spheres and metal, forming a visual balance of hidden majesty and luminous clarity—a dialogue between historical dignity and modern interpretation.

Inspired by the frost flowers and rime of Jilin, the design captures the fleeting beauty of nature within light and shadow, symbolizing vitality and resilience. The preface hall draws from the Jinding Kiln White-Glazed Plum Vase in the Jilin Provincial Museum, integrating the Cizhou kiln’s white slip carving technique to revive traditional craftsmanship in a modern form. The Ruyi-pattern paper-cut window flowers, reimagined as mirrored glass doors, express blessings and continuity of good fortune.

Under the curatorial concept of HOMETIQUE, an Art Corridor unfolds—an immersive journey where artistic furnishings convey emotion and individuality. Drawing inspiration from museum collections and intangible heritage crafts such as Tianshui lacquerware and inlaid shellwork, the corridor bridges centuries of artistry, with the “four bottles” symbolizing harmony and stability.

At the heart of the space, a geometrically symmetrical atrium defines order and visual focus. A suspended crystal chandelier shimmers above the sand table, casting a soft narrative glow. The caisson-inspired ceiling weaves rhythm and structure, allowing the aesthetics of order to flow naturally. The salon negotiation area combines the sophistication of a boutique with the warmth of home, creating a multidimensional social field for connection and reflection.

Traditional artifacts meet modern craftsmanship—glazed surfaces, carved details, and subtle textures intertwine to form a living aesthetic. The display borrows from the literati’s “tea ceremony” ethos, where restraint and poetic stillness define spatial rhythm.

Above the bar, crystal chandeliers reinterpret the icicles of Changchun’s winter eaves, reimagined through bronze inlay craftsmanship. The dome above acts as a curtain of light—stone’s stillness, light’s motion, and wine’s warmth compose a serene yet festive scene, a private “Cozy Club” of refined leisure.

Mirrors seamlessly draw the garden view indoors, dissolving boundaries and creating a “Garden Without Borders.” Light cascades like petals; flowers whisper across the air, making the space bloom with sensory poetry.The project transcends its role as a reception venue—it becomes a flowing cultural feast. Through art as its guiding thread, it weaves a tapestry of emotional resonance and timeless grace, establishing a spiritual landmark where every encounter continues the narrative of an era.
