Vantel Design: Winner of International Residential Architecture Awards 2025. CLOUD MANSION, known as a premium residential development, is situated adjacent to the Affiliated School of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University. Leveraging this strategic educational advantage, it is meticulously planned as Hohhot’s pioneering “Lifelong Learning-Oriented Organic Ecological Community.” The design philosophy is dedicated to seamlessly integrating lifelong learning and cultural enrichment into the fabric of daily life, creating serene spaces where residents of all ages can engage in a continuous dialogue with knowledge and their inner selves.

Informed by in-depth market research, the design specifically caters to evolving families seeking enhanced living experiences and space that adapts to their life stages. It maximizes the “grow-with-you” potential of each layout through intelligent shear-wall planning, granting exceptional adaptability. The development presents four distinct layout collections: 97-99 m², 112-116 m², 125-128 m², and 146 m². Each residence boasts a private elevator foyer. The resulting space efficiency and net-to-gross area ratio surpass those of comparable properties across the city.

The community masterplan unfolds around nine distinct artistic lifestyle scenes, seamlessly interwoven with a “Free-Island” ecological oasis network. This creates a living environment that feels both naturally immersive and effortlessly fluid. The two land parcels are masterfully integrated, featuring dual clubhouses designed for functional synergy, thereby realizing a grand-community vision with shared, premium amenities. These clubhouses offer a comprehensive suite of all-age facilities: an after-school learning center, dedicated children’s play zones, interactive family spaces, multi-sport courts (badminton, basketball, tennis), a state-of-the-art fitness center, a serene yoga studio, and activity lounges for seniors. Crafted with hotel-grade finishes, intelligent building systems, and sophisticated aesthetics, they set a new benchmark for the ecological luxury clubhouse. The homecoming experience is thoughtfully choreographed through the organic fusion of traditional Chinese spatial sequence – Arrival at the Gate, Passage through the Corridor, Gathering in the Hall, Stroll in the Garden, and Return to the Residence. This journey instills a profound sense of ceremony while offering a continuously unfolding landscape narrative.

The architecture is defined by liberated, hyper-fluid curvilinear forms, giving rise to a façade that exudes natural harmony, visual lightness, and transcendent elegance. Its classic tripartite articulation – comprising a distinct crown, a gracefully articulated middle section, and a solid, grounded podium – resonates with timeless aesthetic principles appreciated across cultures. The material composition is carefully curated: a dual-tone combination of champagne and off-white aluminum panels forms the primary expression, complemented by off-white mineral-texture render and warm gray metallic accents. The consistent application of curvilinear motifs throughout conveys a distinctly contemporary, artfully luxurious, and dynamically fluid design aesthetic.
