TFX GROUP: Winner of International Residential Architecture Awards 2024. ELEGANT REALM, developed by TFX GROUP, is located in the Yannan area of Yanta District, Xi’an, adjacent to vibrant hubs such as the High-Tech Zone and University Town. With its prime location, the project enjoys dynamic energy and boundless potential. Centered around the themes of youthfulness and international flair, it envisions a future-oriented, fashionable, and vibrant residential community.

Spanning about 40,000 square meters, the project features a plot ratio of 2.8, a height limit of 80 meters, an above-ground construction area of 112,560 square meters, and 837 residential units. As the first fourth-generation residential community in the region, its thoughtfully planned layout employs axial principles to establish spatial order. This design enhances a sense of ceremony, creating a balanced and dignified spatial pattern that exudes distinctive charm.

To improve the public amenities, the project introduces partially stilted ground floors to create a multi-functional community clubhouse seamlessly connected to landscaped areas. Tailored for young residents, it includes diverse facilities such as fitness areas, reception lounges, and entertainment spaces, meeting leisure and social interaction needs.

The residential design adopts a stacked courtyard villa concept. Each unit features a sky garden, ensuring expansive views while curating a serene and refined living environment.

The architectural facade embodies the philosophy of “Western techniques, Eastern essence,” blending contemporary techniques with the local cultural heritage. The  facade design employs a lattice-like framework, with large frames segmenting building volumes and horizontal lines emphasizing layered eaves. The staggered placements of these eaves creates a rhythmic aesthetic. A signature feature is the reinterpretation of the eaves of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which lends a distinctive and symbolic identity. The color palette draws inspiration from the exuberant reds and greens of the Tang Dynasty, with off-white as the primary tone and shimmering rose gold accents, balancing modern elegance with a profound historical and cultural essence. The landscape design caters to six core resident needs: a ritualistic homecoming experience, high-quality communal spaces, physical and spiritual wellbeing, family and parent-child interaction, neighborly engagement, and sustainable living with nature. Following three key strategies—simplicity with creativity, quality intertwined with nature, and the fusion of art and life—the design creates a sustainable, youth-oriented community which integrates artistic natural aesthetics and flexible multi-functional community spaces.
