HHD Shenzhen East Holiday International Design Consultants Limited: Winner of World Design Awards 2025. The GINLANJIA RESORT draws inspiration from the natural topography and water features of Taibai Mountain. Through the deconstruction and reconstruction of natural landscapes using modern design techniques, this project is engineered to be a perfect fusion of natural beauty and humanistic elements.

This project is fully integrated with the natural scenery of Taibai Mountain. Inspired by the winding mountain paths, the interior design adopts a circular spatial layout with rich scenes, incorporating the forms and linear language of the mountains into the indoor environment. This achieves a seamless integration of architecture, landscape, and interior design, allowing guests to feel the breath of nature at every corner of the resort. Moreover, water elements and color schemes are utilized, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of forests and streams.

The locally sourced original stones and woods are adopted with minimal treatment to preserve their natural textures, enabling the architecture to blend naturally into the surrounding environment. Besides, local vegetation and water systems are extracted to create gardens and waterscapes with regional characteristics. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views, allowing guests to experience the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Taibai Mountain without leaving the hotel.

Furthermore, by strategically placing partitions and using flexible furniture arrangements, functional zones are clearly defined to meet a variety of needs, including hotel front desk operations, real estate sales, guest relaxation, and business meetings. This approach enhances space utilization and value, while also improving guests’ sense of belonging and satisfaction. In addition, eco-friendly water-based coatings on the walls help construct an ecological barrier against Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions to ensure healthy indoor air quality. The use of local materials also significantly reduces carbon emissions. Compared to traditional hotels, this project makes the most of sustainable materials and establishes a four-in-one sustainability system centered on energy conservation, emission reduction, recycling, and regeneration, building a more eco-friendly, and livable hotel environment.
