CAPOL INTERNATIONAL & ASSOCIATES GROUP: Winner of International Residential Architecture Awards 2024. Mjh Yunzhu is nestled in the vicinity of the iADC International Art Exhibition Center in Shenzhen. The unwavering dedication of the Mjh Group to art has bestowed a distinct allure upon this particular area. Right from its inception, this project has been crafted in accordance with the essence of an art masterpiece, rather than adhering to the commonplace norms of residential construction.

The design concept held by the leading design team of Capol resonates with this vision. They believe that residential design can be divided into three levels. Firstly, it requires resolving the technical issues of the land plot, like devising the layout, configuring the apartment styles, and optimizing sunlight access. Secondly, it aims to meet the commonly pursued aesthetic standards. Thirdly, it embarks on an exploration of stylistic innovation. In this project, by leveraging Capol’s two-decade-long prefabrication technology, the design team has engaged in an “extraordinary co-creation” with the property owner, breaking free from the constraints of conventional wisdom and stereotypical impressions, and delving into the domain of prefabricated residential design.

The overarching planning of the project is centered around maximizing the utilization of the surrounding resources and conjuring up a vibrant urban space, giving rise to a large enclosing spatial configuration. It not only luxuriates in the embrace of the landscape endowments but also infuses dynamism into urban living. The disposition of the high-rise towers is predicated upon the principle of attaining optimal sightlines. The orientation and form of the edifices have been meticulously calibrated to ensure equilibrium, precluding any visual encroachments between households and maximizing the exploitation of the community’s scenic offerings, thereby enhancing the quality of habitation. The facade is adorned with a modern and minimalist style, resonating with the aesthetic yearnings of prefabricated residential architecture. In contrast to numerous residential undertakings, it harnesses prefabricated construction methodologies and synergizes them with meticulous facade detailing. Through the incorporation of embedded metal trims, the accentuation of lattice-structured elements, and the artful orchestration of color palettes, it fashions a contemporary and stately visage for the towers. The refined and luminous color tones, combined with the prefabricated-style facade, engender a seamless harmony between the edifice and its environs, painting a idyllic tableau of a cozy living and unfurling the profound artistic vista of “scenery beyond scenery”. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and oversized balconies with panoramic views orchestrate a spatial sojourn of an international art-inhabited community.
