ORIENTAL CONCEPT DESIGN: Winner of International Residential Architecture Awards 2023. Located in Longnan, Gansu province, the courtyard is surrounded by mountains and rivers. The building was built by the owner, Mr. Guo. The interior design is positioned in a minimalist modern style with extremely simple materials and extensive use of logs, white wall tiles and log flooring. Through the design of the combination of techniques, the designer’ intergrates the concept of the surrounding natural mountains and water, with the natural landscape outside the window and indoor perfect integration. As a Chinese saying goes, a glimpse of a corner, will be the world, which perfectly express the interpretation of architecture and design, man and nature of harmonious coexistence.
