Lude Design: Winner of International Residential Architecture Awards 2024. Tangyuechuanqi SPA is a modern spa center, like a quiet place in the hustle and bustle of the city. Wandering in the retrospective space, each functional area has its own characteristics, exuding a soft and calm atmosphere, awakening the resonance experience between people and space, and pursuing delicate feelings rather than simple visual impact. The material selection is compatible and orderly, using micro-cement art paint, stainless steel copper-plated fish scales, log square materials, gradient acrylic and other materials to form a unified sensory experience in a differentiated spatial atmosphere.

The overall spatial structure in the reception hall presents a square layout based on functional requirements. In order to alleviate the seriousness and monotony it may bring, we cleverly introduced a large wavy wall design on the wall of the public area. Breaking through the traditional sense of boundaries, making the experience “rhythmic”, and through the delicate treatment of micro-cement materials on the top and walls, giving the entire space a soft and warm atmosphere.

The gradient acrylic bar and the customized electronic candle lighting atmosphere embody the artistic soul, giving the space infinite inclusiveness and a strong sense of integration.

The customized round ultra-thin craft stone wall lamps and mirror-polished stone floors bring a warm and mysterious atmosphere to the entrance. It cleverly integrates liveliness and fun, making the entire space more layered and artistic. Use the language of materials to interpret the penetration of space, light and dark, deep and shallow.

The site allusion lies in the grasp of the spiritual scale, in the point, leaving a certain imagination space, and is a way of processing blank in the spiritual world. In the design of the windowless SPA room, we abandoned the traditional curtain wrapping of the wall, aiming to eliminate the sense of closure and oppression that may be caused by the lack of windows. Warm-toned velvet art paint and wool carpets increase the warmth and freedom of the space.

In the VIP room, we cleverly integrate the intelligent lighting system into the design. In terms of detailed expression, gold platinum veneer, wired glass and decorative yarn, mosaic bathtub and spray-painted glass light box, all lighting designs are diffuse reflection, making people feel relaxed and healed. “Feeling”, a seemingly understated and ordinary word, is actually the key throughout. What is conveyed is a desire to cause “resonance”. Therefore, we use the dramatic effect of wired glass, which is both transparent and reflective, to show the hidden content; to freeze those brief moments; to express those silent words; to exquisitely reflect the play of light and shadow and the harmonious balance of the surrounding environment, so that visitors who are pulled away from their daily lives seem to be in a space with blurred three-dimensional depth.

This is not only a commercial space, but also a container of emotions and senses. Visitors can find resonance in the depths of their hearts in every subtle sensory stimulation. Every corner is a unique painting, allowing people to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and regain their inner peace in the fusion of nature and art.
