Kris Lin International Design: Winner of Architect of the Year Awards 2024. The project aims to create an open and shared community clubhouse, enhancing neighborly interaction and engagement. The clubhouse is equipped with multifunctional spaces such as a tea room, shared reading lounge, sunlit swimming pool, gym, and yoga room, catering to a diverse range of community needs.

Purpose:

A. Foster close interaction among families through a parent-child interaction space.

B. Provide sports and wellness facilities to create a vibrant, shared community.

C. Strengthen neighborhood relationships, promote friendly family interactions, and cultivate a harmonious community atmosphere.

Design Approach:

The design integrates architecture, interiors, and soft furnishings, creating a cohesive and unified spatial experience.

2. Design Inspiration

Concept: Crystal

The design is inspired by the purity and transparency of crystals. This concept breaks the conventional sense of enclosure in architecture, creating a lightweight and transparent glass building. By harnessing the refractive properties of crystals, the design incorporates multi-faceted structures, increasing openness and interaction within the space. This creates a dynamic and lively atmosphere, making the building resemble a flowing piece of art, expressing the dynamic relationship between people and space.

3. Material Application

To achieve the transparent architectural effect, high-transparency Low-E glass was used, combined with custom deep-white glass and dark-gray anodized aluminum panels. This enhances the layering and visual lightness of the façade, making the building appear as though it is floating in the distance, presenting a distinctive visual effect.
