SHANGHAI ZF ARCHITECTS: Winner of World Design Awards 2024. The base is located in Qiantang New District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, the core Jinsha Lake plate in the center of Xiasha Sub-city CBD, at the inflection point of the “V” shaped industrial belt around Hangzhou Bay. The project scale is about 330,000 square meters, and it is a TRI-CITY international living complex.

As a demonstration area for the transformation and upgrading of a state-level development zone and the core area of a first-class modern and international new urban area, this project will create a vibrant public urban service center, an urban complex integrating Grade A office buildings, a 5-star hotel conference center and noble residences.

The planning structure adopts the layout of “cross axis” + “two centers” + “three districts”: the north-south ecological landscape axis and the east-west enjoyment block axis form a “cross axis”, the “two centers” are the residential green ecological center and the commercial leisure vitality center, and the “three districts” are residential areas, office and commercial areas, and hotel and conference areas. The spirit of architecture lies in space, and the focus of this work is from the comfortable and atmospheric scale of the pattern to the delicate and exquisite details. The essence of the architectural space of the water town lies in the fractal space, that is, the multi-level spatial system. In the residential area, a spatial system of different levels is designed from the central axis, courtyard, corridor, courtyard, etc., from large to small, from surface to point, and the scale of different levels of space is formed to form a high-quality space cognition that is upright, orderly, diversified and exquisite.
