Vaillant Office | Colliers Define | World Design Awards 2025
Colliers Define: Winner of World Design Awards 2025. Located on the 22nd floor of Katowice’s iconic KTW II building, the Vaillant Office is a bold reinterpretation of the modern workplace. It merges contemporary design with the industrial character of the region, creating a space that is both forward-looking and deeply connected to local heritage. The interiors draw inspiration from Katowice’s industrial past and subtly incorporate elements of Vaillant’s brand story and values.

Design That Works for People
Instead of a traditional reception area, guests are welcomed by a friendly relaxation zone – soft armchairs and an open space that immediately creates a relaxed atmosphere. The work area has been designed to allow for effective, focused work. It provides enough space for everyone and is divided into smaller groups of desks, which are distributed evenly throughout the office. Shades of blue, broken up by intense yellow and magenta and combined with materials such as glass, metal and wood, create an interesting contrast and make the space both modern and cosy.
Kitchen with a View
At the core of the office lies the kitchen and social zone, a vibrant space designed to stimulate creativity and foster connection. With panoramic views of the Katowice skyline, this area becomes a symbolic bridge between the workplace and the city. A specially designed bench by the windows, which looks as if it is floating in the air, provides a peaceful place to sit and admire the panoramic view of the city, and serves as a unique connection to Katowice’s scale and character.
Tailored to Every Workstyle
The design supports a variety of work styles and needs. Quiet zones, acoustic booths, and focus rooms provide spaces for concentration, while workshop areas, meeting rooms, and a library encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing. Each area was created with a specific purpose in mind so employees can easily find the right spot for the task.
Sustainable Choices
From the outset, the project focused on making practical yet responsible decisions. Recycled materials and locally produced furniture helped reduce the carbon footprint and supported local businesses. The office also has access to natural light, and greenery throughout the space improves air quality and comfort. The layout of the rooms has been carefully planned to provide employees with sufficient space to work comfortably and move around freely.
A Workplace with a Story Vaillant’s new office in Katowice is a prime example of how a thoughtful approach to design can impact a workspace. By understanding the local identity, an inspiring space was created that encourages creativity and helps employees feel a stronger sense of connection to their workplace.
