RUF Architects: Winner of International Residential Architecture Awards 2024. The project is divided into two plots: 11 units of 17-18story high-rise residential buildings in the west, and 9 units of 17-18 story high-rise residential buildings and 8 6-8-story residential buildings in the east plot. The overall spatial layout is low in the south and high in the north. Each block is connected by the entrance core landscape axis, the high-rise area is centered on the large-scale central landscape garden, and the multi-story area creates a more private garden to provide a good space atmosphere for leisure activities and neighborhood communication.

The project adopts the essence of Chinese traditional ”semi-enclosed” layout, which not only retains the enclosing form, but also expands the vision of living, deepens the communication and interaction with natural environment, and breaks the limitations of traditional space. The isolation between buildings by the greening courtyard maintains the privacy of living, and strengthens the integrity and symbiosis of the landscape. The design pays attention to the simplicity of the pedestrian flow line and landscape layout, easy to move scenery. It emphasizes the harmony between man and nature, so that both man and architecture become part of nature.

In terms of facade design, the building takes the modern style as the skeleton, implicitly combines the characteristics of classical style with the volumes, and displays it in a vertically unfolded attitude. The architectural shape is calm and elegant, emphasizing the overall proportion and detail scale. The choice of materials advocates the use of warm colors, the base uses stable brown real stone paint, the wall body uses beige real stone paint, dotted with brown paint, the formation of a delicate sense of order in the restriction. Architects have different design ideas for the control of details at different scales and the improvement of the overall effect of buildings. In the standard section of facade, the level of molding is increased, and the combination of horizontal line paint and civil construction makes the molding straighter, while the division seam is exquisite and the building as a whole is straight and clean. In the approachable scale to achieve the effective use of resources, the door head using dry hanging stone, aluminum plate and other better materials, so that the details of the scale design more approachable. In the actual experience, the details are more exquisite and the material texture is rich.
