ZSD: Runner-up of World Design Awards 2025. As a convergence point of the five senses, the interior space of Bluebay Cloud Villa focuses on using local materials as emotional guides. It takes the local bamboo weaving in Hainan, natural sandstone, and the color and texture of raw wood as the design inspiration, transforming Roman traverstone, the Seine River, and bamboo weaving into material symbols in the space.

The original form is derived from the exquisite bamboo fish of fishermen, etc. The partition with weaving craftsmanship is set at the corner where the entrance hall meets the interior space, creating a more natural, open and soft area. The dissolved boundaries make the space more flexible and open.

Inheriting the roots of the traditional natural elements of the Li ethnic group, the exposed natural stones are selected from trawl stones that resemble the texture of island beaches. While retaining some natural holes in the stones, they create a more modern and local aesthetic. In the quiet daily life, I pick up a book at random and flip through it. Amidst the most colorful and green scenery outside that appears along with the morning light, I feel the countless flowing vitality in life, unfolding a sense of ease and composure in living.
