Exhibition Center of rail transit TOD Chengdu Luxiao station | DOV DESIGN | World Design Awards 2021

DOV DESIGN: Special Mention of World Design Awards 2021. As the first public transport oriented comprehensive development demonstration project in Chengdu, the TOD Exhibition Center of Luxiao station will embody the exclusive TOD concept of “rail transit changes the urban pattern, Tod comprehensive development reshapes urban life” through multiple dimensions such as project positioning, planning and layout, transportation network, ecological environment and scene construction.

The TOD Exhibition Center of Luxiao station not only includes the sales functional area of super large sand table, dynamic office area and high-end business office area, but also a cultural area integrating cultural facilities such as exhibition hall, cultural museum, art museum and Art Center.

The project is about 1100 square meters.

Design highlights

Matte materials are widely used, and the material selection is more modern.
The space breaks the traditional design and separates the subway track elements, making the whole space full of subway culture and showing a sense of science and technology.
Present the future rail city life concept of Chengdu in the design of the whole exhibition center.
