History of The Polish Court by To Be Design | World Design Awards 2020

To Be Design: Winner of World Design Awards 2020. In this case, the interior looks completely different from the architecture of the old house. It is located in the Polish countryside. The project is necessary in its form. Simplicity and intimacy in elegance as well as care for the quality of materials were the most important things for designers. The Kitchen is essentially the heart of the house. High cabinets provide plenty of storage space and the black stone top makes the kitchen modern and elegant. The marble floor adds texture and contrast in this space again. The designer of the house focused on classic solutions. That is why main materials are natural –  white marble, wood, black stone. The project required a lot of consequences from the designer to make it consistent and timeless in form.

I am graduated of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (Faculty of Interior Design). Since 2010, I have made designs of the interiors for residential apartments and houses, as well as public space, such as work offices. In 2014, Veronica has founded her own design studio – TO BE DESIGN. Her work has been published in numerous interior design and lifestyle magazines. Her interior designs showcase natural materials, color combinations and functional solutions. Veronica pays special attention to space composition, the contrast and balance in choosing some elements. She loves travelling. She draws her inspiration from observing how people live in different part of the world.
