Architectural Design & Research Institute of SCUT Co., Ltd.: Winner of World Design Awards 2024. The project is located in the 10th development unit of Qianwan District, Qianhai, Shenzhen, adjacent to Yanjiang Expressway to the east, Qianwan 4th Road and Qianwan Park to the north, Menghai Avenue to the south, Linhai Avenue and Unit 8 to the west, and directly connected to the Qianwan Park subway station. The Shenzhen Branch of the National Museum, Taikang International Hospital, Harrow International School, Cambridge University Higher School and the International Community are located in Unit 10, which together with the DreamWorks South District Project forms an international creative sharing community with complex formats and diverse spaces.

Design Concept

1.Mountains and rivers stacking

The building is like a growing green tree, symbolizing the active growth and green shade of the construction of Qianhai Science and Technology Innovation Platform. The podium floor is stacked on top of each other, simulating alpine flowing water and natural forest, and the building volume changes with the floor, and different terrace plants alternately change to form a sky garden platform with different characteristics, which is alternately organized to form a landscape stacked platform.

2.Dream stage

The architectural design places a greater emphasis on flexibility and communication. In the vertical design, a number of aerial platforms are created to promote the germination of ideas and stimulate thinking, and on each floor and aerial platform, team collaboration and social areas are created in a team collaboration mode, which is more suitable for improving the efficiency of work innovation and carrying out collaborative innovation research, and the open floor layout is flexible and convenient to adapt to the needs of different working modes.
