HZS: Winner of International Residential Architecture Awards 2024. The project is located in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, and its west and north sides are mature residential areas of Yizhuang. There are a large number of well-known primary and secondary schools and national key Grade Three hospitals within three kilometers of the surrounding area, in addition, there are commercial and leisure facilities such as Longhu Sky Street and Nanhaizi Park. It enjoys a rich atmosphere of life and diversified living facilities. The adjacent Boxing Road is an important urban road connecting various plates in Yizhuang, and along the road, there is also the Yizhuang Light Rail T1 line. As a result, people can experience multiple travel choices and convenient transportation.

As for the planning pattern, the project fully combines the shape of the site to create an enclosed garden layout, bringing a strong sense of ceremony. The overlapping vertical axis of humanistic ritual order and horizontal axis of ecological tranquility, five-dimensional ritual order, multiple group space and 30,000 square meters of central ritual order landscape bring huge scale and forest-like experience. Each residential cluster has a patchwork of buildings and garden enclosures and comfortable floor spacing, so that each family enjoys a satisfying experience. Buildings of varying heights along the street contribute to a rich urban skyline that transitions naturally and undulates. The receding street corners and well-arranged public building interface along the street bring the distinctive and exquisite small-scale urban space and multi-level neighborhood open space system. The project fully demonstrates the sense of ceremony that is difficult to replicate from the city to the humanities and arts.

Based on the design concept of simplicity, compactness, purity and precision and the emphasis of architectural language, the facade uses modern building materials such as stone, metal and glass to convey the modern, elegant and low-key luxury aesthetic concept. The facade adopts the “picture frame” style beveling design technique, modern simple technique is used to metaphor Chinese traditional culture, the selection of all stone + metal brings strong sense of science and technology, while the facade detail design also conveys the modern precision design concept.

The entrance of the home returning route presents a luxury experience like hotel, and the circular drop-off area brings a noble experience. The magnificent, simple and powerful gate of 27 meters wide is like a roc spreading its wings, which displays the shipping culture of the owner MERCHANTS, and also indicates a bright and hopeful future. The stable and elegant overall temperament cannot be separated from choice materials, the historic, copper-colored stainless steel is used to create complex curved shapes, and the eye-catching central integrated sculpture is purely handmade, like a money tree to bring good luck to the owners. The stone wall is made of black Versace stone to create a luxurious and elegant image. The large electric glass door is flanked on each side by a beautiful imported greeting pine. The dynamic fountain, starry gate roof and quiet water provide the ultimate stunning welcome experience.
