LubanEra·Design: Winner of World Design Awards 2024. YSFR is a fashion brand dedicated to crafting a sustainable development space that blends contemporary art culture with a fashionable lifestyle for modern females. The project aims to explore the commercial value brought by spatial aesthetics.

The design philosophy deliberately avoids adhering to any specific style. Instead, space becomes a medium that infuses with the spiritual strength of modern females. The designer skillfully combines the form and texture of materials to enrich the space, while light and shadow create emotional resonance, resulting in a comfortable and tranquil working atmosphere.

The front desk area, which defines the first impression of the entire space, reinterprets the natural elements of textured stone. By extracting, disassembling, and reassembling these elements, a sense of natural order and aesthetic harmony is maintained. Without excessive decorations, the space is open and transparent, offering visitors a relaxed and comfortable experience.

The showroom features mutual mirroring interactions between people and objects, light and shadow, and past and present. The unpretentious design captures the essence of the commercial space, subtly conveying a rebellious, independent yet inclusive attitude. Through subtle oppositional relationships, the space fosters connections between space, mind, and product display, offering a refreshing experience for consumers and employees.

The combination of natural stones and burl wood veneer perfectly blends strength and natural beauty. The rigidity of stone and the warmth of wood create a striking textural contrast and a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. Through careful exploration of form, color, and space, the designer enhanced spatial order and sense of layering, allowing each area to stand as distinct yet interconnected.

The internal showroom maintains a careful balance between intimacy and versatility, ensuring flexibility in product display while seamlessly blending the brand space with urban life. The break area provides a valuable retreat for the staff during work breaks. A large expanse of birch wood is used to enhance internal and external communication. Unlike the traditional cold and indifferent stereotype, this space serving as a reception area, is distinguished by its elegant simplicity and practicality, blending socializing and natural atmospheres.

The workbench complements the other functional areas, utilizing color blocks to delineate areas and strengthen colleague interactions. The bar counter, integrating various elements, enriches the sensory experience and user engagement within the space. Different from traditional media spaces, the shooting and live-streaming area offers an authentic, refined setting enhanced by its nuanced lighting.

The space design coordinates the relationship between people, objects, activities, noise, and colors within the space. It narrates the space’s original appearance and infuses it with aesthetic value, enhancing consumers’ tangible experience of the brand’s ethos and culture, thus creating memorable brand impressions.
