Wine Cellar | BFZ Barrierefreie Zone GmbH | World Design Awards 2022
BFZ Barrierefreie Zone GmbH: Winner of World Design Awards 2022. This unique ‘wine cellar’, located in the basement of a three-story house building is a real eye-catcher. The frame is made of burnished steel, with colored insulating glass. This walk-in room offers enough space to cool and store wine due to the special temperature control.
Next to the ‘wine cellar’ is an artfully designed staircase, with a burnished steel surface, which provides additional storage space.
Opposite the ‘wine cellar’ is a large pivot door, made of burnished steel and recesses of colored glass. This door skillfully reflects the special atmosphere of the ‘wine cellar’ and provides an extraordinary spatial experience when entering the room.
