Zhejiang University Urban-Rural Planning and Design Institute Co. LTD: Winner of World Design Awards 2022. We believe that users should pay more attention to the “impression” of space than to the ” architecture image”. In order to meet the ground building function on the limited land, we raised the existing green space and transformed it into the roof park. The grassy slope connected with ground makes people easy to reach. The main rectangular structure of the library is raised to three floors above, and it is suspended like an aerial think tank. This horizontal structure intersects and overlaps with the vertical structure of the ground floor under the roof to form a more integrated campus layout.
