Zhubo Design: Winner of World Design Awards 2023. The project is located at the intersection of Bulan Road and Buli Road, Xialilang District, Buji Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen; It is adjacent to Lianchuang Technology Park in the northwest, facing Jiazhaoye Technology Square across Bulan Road in the northeast, and surrounded by numerous industries and residential areas. The north side of the project is 1.5 kilometers away from the Bulan entrance and exit of Shuiguan Expressway, with a land area of 37000 square meters and a total construction area of 220000 square meters.

Project difficulty: Side road 、Large elevation difference 、Urban relations

Only one short side of the site is adjacent to the road, and the height difference between the site and the road is 4m, and two original dormitories need to be reserved. How to build a space-friendly high-density industrial park under the existing conditions has become a problem we need to consider.

Project design concept:

The planning concept of “front city and back garden” takes into account the use needs of urban openness and internal privacy; The unified and subtly different architectural forms meet the demands of internal functional diversity, and also create a rich three-dimensional courtyard; The front courtyard is more open to the city, with public activity space. The internal courtyard has a more private courtyard attribute, with a soothing scale and a lush green atmosphere.

Through sorting out the height difference of the site and the entrance and exit, the overall site will be raised and double first floors will be set. Combined with the spatial pattern, the concept of front city and back garden is introduced. The body is digested to form a multi-layer platform, a three-dimensional garden, and the overall texture echoes the L-shaped elements.
