Taweecool Architects: Winner of World Design Awards 2023. Climate change is leading LCDs concept more urgent and underscoring the impact we have on the hospitality environment and its contexts. It is the great challenge of our time; it is also our great opportunity for architects to design the real architecture with design innovation and design integration. Recognizing design’s impact, Taweecool architects conformed the Paris Pledge for transformation of our global built environment.

NO3D of PARADISE is situated on the Southern coastline of Songkhla lake. The innovative resort also takes the idea of vernacular-inspired aesthetics of Thai architecture. The design process started with the mapping the existing of site contexts all of which influenced the final development plan.

There are two goals about resort architecture of the project NO3D of PARADISE that challenged. First, the resort must conform into the design principle of LCDs concept (LCDs: Low-cost Design Solution, Low Carbon Driven Sustainability, Low Carbon Destination Sustainability). Second, that a resort should always represent the design innovation with the art and architecture appreciation for the guests’ experiences.

NO3D of PARADISE is strongly designed with innovation values to expand the scope of resilience beyond environmental factors to encompass energy-saving, hospitality innovation which all resort facilities. While high-performance to resort building is a core strategy, the long-term success of a project depends on its outcome to unlock design innovation. Design fosters that research outcome by considering the impact to resort architecture that assessed by the guests and their expectation.
